My child has never been to an overnight camp, I'm concerned that he/she will get homesick, what do you think?
Our camp has been "home" to well over 1500 kids since 1995.We provide a "home away from home" atmosphere where they feel most comfortable and secure.Most have a hard time leaving when it"s time.
Can my child call home during camp?
Certainly!However experience tells us that many times this leads to the child becoming "homesick".We leave this to the discretion of the parent.
